Q: Do I need to provide anything with my ironing?
A: No – hangers and plastic garment covering are supplied, but we do offer the choice of using your own hangers and re-using the plastic covering. We can supply a seperate bag for this.
Q: How many shirts do you get for a kilo?
A: On average 4 shirts to a kilogram. We will weigh your ironing on collection, so you'll know the exact cost before we start.
Q: What shall I put my ironing in?
A: We can provide you with a laundry bag which you can use each time for the cost of £5. This is a one off cost and we will replace the bag FREE of charge through wear and tear.
Q: What if its bad weather will everything get wet?
A: No – all garments hung and folded are protected by plastic garment covering.
Q: When and how do I pay?
A: Payment is due on receipt of your ironing. We take cheques (made payable to Full Steam Ahead) cash or you can pay online using our account details on your bill.
Q: What if I only want a one off service?
A: We provide one off, regular weekly/fortnightly and monthly services and each will be treated with the same professional standard.
Q. Do you pick up and deliver?
A. Yes, we will arrange a time slot for either morning, afternoon or evening (depending on the area) for collections and deliveries.
Q: I work Monday – Friday 9-5 can I still have my ironing collected and delivered?
A: Yes – Our collection and Delivery Service operates daytime and evenings up to 8pm to suit and can call at workplace or home. We also provide a key holding system where needed.
Q: How quickly can I get my laundry back?
A: We offer a Sameday, Next day and 7 day Service. The prices vary for each service.
Q. Do you require a minimum order value?
A: Our minimum order value is 4Kg
Q. Do you hang or fold the ironed clothes?
A: We hang and cover shirts, blouses, skirts, dresses, trousers and any top with a collar, everything else is folded neatly in our waterproof laundry bags. (requirment cards are provided for each client to add any specific requirements needed)

Q. What happens if i am not in when you call to collect or deliver?
A: Not a problem just leave your ironing in a safe place for us to collect and we will pick it up and leave a bill in your post box.
For deliveries, we will find a safe dry place to leave your ironing and collect payment with your next load of ironing (regular customers only) or if arranged earlier a garage or shed could be left un-locked with a cheque in a safe place. If there isn't a suitable place to leave ironing we will re-deliver at a more convenient time but an extra delivery charge may be added in this case.
